Join the Hub – multiple positions available

This is an exciting opportunity for Postdoctoral Research Fellows/ Research Fellows to join the newly established ARC Research Hub for Advanced Manufacture of Targeted Radiopharmaceuticals (AMTAR) and contribute to innovations in biotechnology and pharmaceutical science. Successful candidates will work closely with our industry and academic partners to develop expertise and build a research profile in their discipline.

AMTAR is funded through the Australian Research Council Industrial Transformation Research Hub scheme. AMTAR aims to develop new technologies and establish a platform for smart-design, manufacture and quality assurance of targeted radiopharmaceuticals. AMTAR is a large consortium led by The University of Queensland in collaboration with the University of Sydney and our national and international partners.

Multiple positions are available at Academic Level A or Level B in the areas of:

  • Radiochemistry and novel probe development
  • Radiobiology and radiation induced biological responses
  • Imaging science and imaging technologies
  • Biotechnology and protein engineering
