Francisca Barretto

Francisca is a molecular biologist with dual Master’s degrees and hands-on experience in protein expression and purification and cell culture. She has worked extensively with recombinant protein workflows, including cloning, phage display, AKTA-based purification, ELISA and western blotting.

Her most recent research focused on finding intrabodies targeting G-protein coupled receptors, along with contributing to a project involving scFv purification in collaboration with external research partners. She has a strong interest in biologics development and enjoys applying molecular biology tools to solve research challenges.

At AMTAR, she looks forward to contributing to ongoing research in biologics and supporting collaborative scientific initiatives.
