The ARC Research Hub for Advanced Manufacture of Targeted Radiopharmaceuticals (AMTAR), welcomed researchers, clinicians, industry partners and government representatives for its second annual retreat at UQ Brisbane City.

In addition to research presentations, our industry panel session, featuring Prof Ros Francis (RBWH), Dr Wojtek Goscinski (NIF), Dr David Chin (Telix), and Dr Douglas Campbell (Glytherix), expertly moderated by AMTAR Deputy Director Prof David Owen, explored the future of the sector. We were also privileged to hear from invited speaker Professor David Pattison, Director of Nuclear Medicine, Royal Brisbane and Womens Hospital and Sue Coke (Director Biomedical Industry Development, Department of State Development, Infrastructure and Planning) and Mark Jacobs (Deputy Director General, Department of Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation).

The retreat was a fantastic opportunity to share progress made and look forward to where we are heading next, and the lasting impact we can make for Australia’s biotech ecosystem.
